April 30, 2023 at 6:00 PM, FBC Manchester will present a worship concert called, "God Really Loves Us."

We will video-record and audio-record this event.

The congregation will be a huge part of the recording,

so come ready to worship our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.


The recordings will be produced and released as CDs and digital downloads on popular streaming services like iTunes, Spotify, etc.

We we also produce the videos from the concert to be released on YouTube, Facebook, etc.


To be clear; the audience WILL be recorded (both video and audio).


Come be a part of this historic event.

Because the world needs to know that, "God Really Loves Us."

Worship and Music Ministry

At the center of all we do in the Worship and Music ministry

is our times of worshipping together as a body of believers. 

Our goal is to honor God by using our gifts of music and the arts

to express our love and dedication to Him

and to inspire others to do the same.

We have several ways to use our gifts to honor God. 

Many of them are listed and described below.

Praise Band & praise team

The Praise Team (singers) and the Praise Band lead worship for all Sunday morning worship services. 

At the 11am service we add the organ and Worship Choir to sing a blend of modern worship songs and traditional hymns.


The Praise Team is made up of singers who feel a calling to lead worship and who have a more advanced vocal ability.

The Praise Band is made up of instrumentalists who excel at their instrument and who have a desire to use their gift to lead in worship. 


These are auditioned groups.

The Worship Choir

The Worship Choir leads us in our 11:00 AM blended worship service. Rehearsals are Wednesday nights from 6:00 PM to 7:15 PM in the choir room. This group also presents a variety of presentations at different times throughout the year. 

Some of these presentations include: theatrical musicals at Christmas and/or Easter as well as worship musicals. 

There is always something going on with the worship choir.


There is no audition required, just show up at 6pm on Wednesday in the Choir room.

  • crimson gospel CD

    The Worship Choir presented Crimson Gospel as a live concert on April 15, 2018 with the full band, orchestra, choir and soloist. We wanted to be able to offer a recording of the singers at FBC performing these songs, so we pre-recorded the Worship Choir and soloist in order to make them available the night of the concert.


    CD's are now on sale in the church book store.

  • Raise a hallelujah cd

    The Worship Choir and soloists recorded a CD in March of 2019. The CD was to be released at our upcoming concert later that April. Due to the COVID-19 outbreak we postponed the concert that year. However, the CD turned out great. We are planning to perform the concert in the Spring of 2022.


    CD's are now on sale in the church book store.

Kid's Choir

Our Kid's Choir meets on Wednesday afternoons from 3:30pm - 4:45pm during the school year. 

This group is open to 1st - 5th graders. We present a Christmas musical and a Spring musical each year.

tech team

The Tech Team is made up of those who have an aptitude and desire to run sound, lights, camera, and/or presentation media.

Todd is originally from South Carolina and is married to Susan Green. Susan is one of our wonderful church pianists and the director for the School Of The Arts (SOTA) that meets at FBC. Todd and Susan have a beautiful daughter named Mary, who was born in 2000. Todd is most comfortable leading worship from behind his guitar and enjoys new praise songs as well as new arrangements of classic hymns.  

Todd enjoys writing songs and devotionals. Prior to coming to First Baptist Church (July 12, 2015), Todd and Susan served 15 years at a church in Nashville, TN. He has a Bachelors Degree in Music from Anderson College in South Carolina and a Masters Degree in Vocal Performance and Church Music from Southwestern Seminary in Fort Worth, TX.
